- Does ReceiptRig work without an internet connection?
- Yes. ReceiptRig is offline-first — you can capture and organize receipts with no signal. Your data syncs to your private iCloud automatically when you're back online.
- Where is my data stored?
- On your device and in your own private iCloud account. We don't run a server that collects your receipts, and reading receipt text happens entirely on your phone. See our Privacy Policy.
- How do I export my receipts for my bookkeeper or taxes?
- Use the Reports section to pick a date range and export a CSV or PDF, then share it by email or save it to Files.
- I lost my phone — are my receipts gone?
- If you had iCloud enabled, your data restores to a new device when you sign in with the same Apple ID.
